I am going to begin blogging about day to day management issues--some basic and some more in-depth. I am hoping other managers, even those outside the veterinary field, can bring some insight into how to become a better manager and how to become a better communicator. I believe practice makes perfect and this blog will give us an avenue to perfect our skills. Thank you for your support...and feel free to comment or post anytime!

Welcome!
Welcome to what I hope will become an interactive blog! A place where managers and even doctors can come together to discuss how to become better at what we do---empower our teams AND EACH OTHER to achieve greatness. For managers, it is important to determine what exactly it is that we do:
man·age·ment/ˈmanijmənt/Noun
1. The process of dealing with or controlling things or people
2. The responsibility for and control of a company or similar organization
lead·er/ˈlēdər/Noun lead–verb (used with object)
1. to go before or with to show the way; conduct or escort
2. to conduct by holding and guiding
3. to influence or induce; cause
HAPPY DISCUSSIONS!
